Kinda makes you wonder what the chances of a successful charter are, maybe 1 in 4 ???
My reference was for YOU TO DO THE CHARTER...not me! I have basically thrown in the towel figuring it won't be successful based on past experiences, so why bother! The only way I will do another one is if I have some sort of guarantee from the Railroad, if the trip cannot be run as originally planned. Why should I always take the hit!!?
These things are highly volatile, and risky ventures. Las Vegas might be a better place to spend the money, cause both are gambles.
When I see a morning like we have here, with temps in the mid 40's, and warming to 75, and clear blue sky, I wish I was doing a charter out there! Today would have been great for steam in the morning.
Oh well, back to reality and working on my pricelist for the holiday season!!!
