Around 1995, I did get a good view of the DLRR enginehouse. I do distinctly remember seeing the yellow Retlaw 1 coaches there, on trucks. Recent pictures I saw of them at Santa Margarita, re-lettered but not fully repainted, showed them in decent shape...on trucks. The Norred family completely restored the combine and they still own that, as well as Seymour Johnson's Hudson, #6088. It was kept at Bell Gardens, which is all gone, and the railroad is mostly in the midwest somewhere. The other Hudson that Bill Norred owned is in Upstate New York. This one was built by Bob Harpur I believe when he was with Little Engines or something; of course he also built four 3' gauge 4-4-0s for Six Flags (Over Georgia and Astroworld in Texas), as well as smaller live steamers, and rebuilding the four WDWRR locomotives in Tampa.
