The bridge may be on the Colorado side of the state line but recall that everything west of Grand Junction was D&RGWRy/Rio Grande Western, managed out of Salt Lake City. Unfortunately your books will likely not provide any information on this subject, especially since this bridge would have been abandoned by1890 when the RGW's standard gauge Ruby Canyon bypass was opened. The Third Division terminated at Grand Junction and would not contain anything relating to tracks west of Grand Junction.
