I don't know where it was after the D&RGW retired it and sold the body, but in the mid-1970's C&TS shop foreman Bernie Watts purchased the car. He had it stored on freight car trucks in Chama for a few years, then moved it to his own property on the south side of Chama, where it sat until the FOCTS purchased it in the 1990's.
