Thanks for being patient with us Jeff and HIGH COMMANDER,
From my perspective, I would like to thank the peoples involved in negotiating this land acquisition, back in the early 90's when I was out in Colorado visiting family that lived in Aurora, I swung by the CRRM while there I was visiting with some of the volunteers, they wanted to expand back then, from what I was told, no one that was around them would ever sell their precious land for an expansion of the museum. So, this is quite a surprise to hear about, Congratulations for all the hard work and for those who never gave up.
One question that I do have, is, does having the museum there reduce the value of the homes that are around it?
I tell you one thing, if i could afford to move to the area I would love to live in Golden, just because of the museum. And of course, Collectors Edge is also located in Golden, that would be a big plus bonus to move out there for me.
Still a Student,
Dave
