How would the train clear a wye?

I'm guessing the D&S only clears the line as far as Cascade.

The two legs where the train faces north, the main line and the northbound leg, are obvious as to how its plowed. How is the leg where the train would change direction by backing up cleared?

Do they use bulldozers today?
