Yes on the photo collection. The back room is where our archive material which includes maps, drawings, business records, small artifacts and photos will be housed. It will probably also be where archive dept. records, printers and scanners are located. This room will be very limited access. The front larger room will house our library collection, and eventually some artifacts in display cases. We plan to have two meeting room tables and enough chairs for our board to meet. The tables will allow material to be brought from the secure room for viewing as well as looking at items in the library collection. The library as one might imagine contains railroad related vintage sales and service literature, rule book and timetables, periodicals, books related to N.E. Or. history, books that touch on the Sumpter Valley Ry. and other railroads and logging in N.E. Or. We have are large collection of books from across the country related to narrow gauge railroads, and logging. We have a section of the late Ron Harr's HON3 layout for a diorama depicting Boulder Gorge and the Howe truss "Red Bridge" that we plan to put on display. The larger room will be more accessible, with prior arrangement, when a responsible member is available on site.
