Re: D&RGW 315 Tender Question

The question may be, "Which tender does No. 315 have now?"
According to the D&RGW folio sheet for class C-18, there were three different sizes of tender.
2,000 gallons - No. 320.
2,300 gallons - Nos. 317, 318, 319.
3,500 gallons - Nos. 315, 316.
The problem is, photos at different times show No. 316 with a different tank. My guess, without doing the geometry to calculate the cistern capacity, is that No. 315 appears to have either a 2,300 or 3,500 gallon cistern. Perhaps one of the people working on the restoration can fill us in with the correct capacity.
