Adventure in Moving - GLR

I believe that was U-Haul's promotional line. Personally, I hate moving. It's a drag.
Well, Georgetown Loop's season is winding down. A bit over a month and unless Batman speeds in and takes out the "bad guys," it looks like we'll be moving a lot of equipment out of Silver Plume. Imagine the "adventure in moving" when you have to move 25 or so railcars and five locomotives, as well as shop equipment, tools, M of W equipment, and spare parts.
#44's (well, actually #40's) tender has been emptied and moved to the loading ramp at the end of the "Fence Track" at Plume. Might go to Golden next week. #44's frame/cylinders was moved up to Plume this morning and is being readied for shipment. Spare wheelsets and other large parts are being slowly loaded into a gon for shipment and storage. One gon has already been filled and is down at Lebanon Spur.
Very Sad Times.
