Union photo with an unusual backdrop...

Oddly, the house in the background still exists. The tracks are long gone, though.
Those are two East Tennessee and Western North Carolina RR boxcars, probably before WW1.
The group noted in writing is an early communist-oriented union, back when nobody raised an eyebrow over such things.
The photo was taken facing at what today is called 304 Johnson Avenue in Elizabethton, TN.
This was found among my Mother's things when she passed recently.
