1) Which K-28 was broght back early? I thought one was in a fire or wrecked and returned to Seattle early.
252 [472] derailed on 29 Feb 1944 "Cab burned on engine, trucks driven up under engine, and generally in pretty bad shape" according to the Army report. In March or April '44 it was shipped to Seattle and then to Ogden Supply Depot in Sept or Oct '44.
2) which of these K-28's was the first to turn a wheel on the White Pass?
251 [471] in late November '42
