Also it might be important to note that our communications to public officials are likely public info as well, unless there is a disclaimer with any correspondence indicating otherwise.
Our town board has read my emails at town meetings, without informing me that they were going to. I have posted emails from town officials on georgetownpolitics.com But only to prove a point.
Overall, though, I consider it to be in bad form and considering the delicate nature of this situation, asking permission from Mr. Bell is probably best.
