Southpark,
I use my wife's web site (she sells collectable on ebay and uses the site for images). It costs her $7/mo. If the railroad web sites mentioned in above posting are free, I suggest you use them.
If you have ever posted to a web site you may want to skip the following:
I use ftp to upload images, and have an early (free) version of FTP_PRO, a popular ftp program. I suggest you get a free trial version. If it works for you, you'll probably have to pay to continue to use it. My version was a beta test version and therefore I never had to pay. ftp is fast. I upload 20 ~ 30 images in a matter of a seconds.
To speed uploading, use a jpeg image. A little experimentation will quickly reveal it don't take much bandwidth (small .jpg file) to put up a good quality image.
Like I say, if you are familiar with all this, sorry to take up your time. If not, and you have questions, backchannel me.
good luck,
dan
