Thanks Earl, no one seemed to know much of anything about the Hawaiian loco, it kind of just appeared in 1973 and was quickly forgotten.

And in 1971, before being converted in early 1972, 3244 was given a zero to become 03244 and was the tool car that went behind the engine on every train out of the yards.
