It's not such a bad idea .... not TOFC, but COFC!!
Until the road between Skagway and Carcross was finished, we (White Pass & Yukon) used to regularly haul cars, buses, and trucks on flat cars from Skagway up to Whitehorse. Folks could have their car or motorhome loaded at Chama or Antonito, ride the train one way, then get in their vehicle and continue their vacation.
