True enough, William -
But those of us lucky enough to have watched the D&RGW fade away in the sixties are mostly well past our own sixties, and fading away ourselves. OTOH the C&TS now has a history of its own of more than fifty years — it’s already more than a dozen years since we old timers celebrated the railroad’s beginnings on its 40th Birthday — and the C&TS now has a wide variety of equipment spanning more than 100 years of railroading on the D&RG(W) narrow gauge for a wide variety of re-creations from the 1890s on.
Dream Charters are WAY more possible today than they were in 1969!!
