Or how about we call on someone in the organization - no naming names - who specializes in vintage line equipment, and have the line rebuilt to 1904 specs ??? Some fat old aqua F.M. Locke CD 300's oughta handle the load to the entire valley, and would look mighty fine doing it. Kinda like retrofitting that railroad with those old "steam-type" locomotives and such!
Afterall, back in days of yore, overhead lines were everywhere and a sign that "progess" had reached the hinterlands! You just need to make it look old!
