Wyoming mystery gons *LINK*

I was finally able to track the history of the three "mystery" gons from Laramie Wyoming. They came from Hill City South Dakota to Laramie and are #1282, 1488 and 1826. 1488 is now in South Fork, 1282 and 1826 are in Boulder. 1826 is mine and is slowly being restored, attached is a picture of it from August 2. 1282 is (or was) owned by the Boulder County Railway Historical Society. It was in bad shape, all sills roten and the car actually broke under its own weight. Given that, the BCRHS has scrapped the car and is using parts (entire brake system) on D&RGW caboose 04990 in Boulder. 1282's trucks were traded for a set of West Side lumber trucks to put under Denver, South Park & Pacific boxcar 608, which is also owned by the BCRHS.
