Does anyone have any photos of the old loading platform that was in place before the bridge was reconstructed? The first time I was exposed to the loop was in the very early '80s on a family road trip and I remember begging my mom to stop so that we could ride the train. My brother and sisters and I all made the climb up the trail to catch the train and I remember arriving in Silver plume and seeing the ex-westside shays. I wish I took pictures back then.
