Not much but manfac.
I have had a couple of people contact me, look at pictures, and it has been determined I have a common (but old) barn lantern... At least we can document he worked for the DSP&P...
Another urban legend solved..
I will have to get up to Idaho Springs and get my great great grandfathers brass Frisco lantern and go from there. As soon as my wife gets her schedule to point to take a day off... I will be bringing the family up to ride behind the shay.
