Can anyone tell me what the street address was of the DRGW freight station in Farmington, NM...or perhaps an intersection of a street with the railroad. I have some maps that show the location of the railroad ROW in relation to current streets, and now the challenge is to locate the station and wye. The property lines tend to suggest where the wye was, but that needs to be confirmed. If my house is any indication, there can be a big difference between surveys and actual location. Also if anyone can point me to photos of the Farmington "yard", that would be helpful. I have a few, but things have changed so much the ones I have are not particularly helpful. But something that shows the wye in relation to the station would be helpful. I hope to do some on the ground research in Farmington next week. All this may turn out to be pretty easy, but I'm just starting.
