Jeff , I appreciate your kind words .I worked closely with Phil Schnell ,publisher of the Timber Times to make the best cover . Combining a good photo of the Hallack and Howard line in Idaho with photos I took of #3 at McEwan a few years back , I was able to come up with unique cover art . Incidentally , #3 supposedly the biggest narrow gauge Heisler . It is nothing short of miraculous that it is preserved and still operating . I recommend to readers that they look at the fine line of books published by Timber Times ,and we owe a vote of thanks to Phil Schnell for keeping some unique books in print .
