I have to agree with what many of you have said - this is a very photogenic location. I used it several years ago for the
colored pencil sketch below. Unfortunately, the scanner washed out some of the colors and I was never able to figure out
a way around that.
Anyway, I was curious about what appears to be a small dam about 20 feet downstream from the bridge. It looks like it was
made from a hodgepodge of various materials - rocks, wood and old rails. Was it added to reduce the erosion around the
bridge pilings? Will this be replaced at the same time as the bridge?
