Hi Railfan1996! On behalf of the Board of the Directors of THRA (pronounced as a word, not individual letters), thank you for your plug and providing the links so people can learn more about us. Tuolumne County, California, did have several noteworthy narrow gauge railroads, including West Side Lumber Company and the 30-inch-gauge Yosemite Short Line.

Our early projects will be standard gauge, but narrow gauge is on our radar, too. Kyle K. Wyatt -- retired curator of the California State Railroad Museum -- heads our Projects Committee, which is working on several short-term goals. A new website is being developed to replace the current Weebly site that we inherited when we adopted the annual Sierra Seminar (which will be held on Oct. 2, 2022). It will have an archive of photos and documents.
