Continuing the winding climb with train 3480
When my brother and I were chasing the Maclear branch trains during his time off from firing steam at Vryburg, and we agreed that the Maclear branch was one of our favorite steam operations in South Africa - a time warp really, as such branch line operations pretty much vanished from the US in the 1930s if not earlier.
