I was there on Tuesday and rode with almost a full train out of Chama. We were behind 489 with 487 as a helper up the Hill. 463 was on the West Bound train which I rode back from Osir. There were a lot more people on a tuesday than I thought there would be. I caught the train on top of Cumbres on monday and chased it down and it had a good load of people.
I would like to thank the crew on the train. They were very helpfull and did a great job. Also the guys who put out the fires behind us. (I counted six on the way back down the hill.) Everybody's attitude was great and very upbeat. I think that since GB left, things have made a 180 degree turn for the better
There was a more activity in the Chama yard than I have seen in years. All sorts of people working on different projects, and it was not a friends work day.
