Oddly, I was just up that way last Wednesday (the day before the fire started) and hiked a section of the Madera Sugar Pine grade about a half mile from where the fire started, then dropped in to the depot to watch the 15 depart and talk to GM Scott McGhee. I'll post a trip report later...
