PRR/PRSL,
Since you have refused to talk to me back channel since I disagreed with you several years ago about the success or failure of #3000 on the D&RGW, you have had it in for me. You have taken every chance right or wring to pick at me. To hold such anger for so many years, you need to seek help.
First, the picture I refer to says it is a loco in the caption, not a tender.
Second, I only read about one post of yours in 10 so your flames are missing the target.
Third, you got onto me about not researching the RGS shay and the GLR shays that were not the same. I do not have any RGS books (as I can not afford them) in my personnal library.
You seem to need a whipping boy. Fine, I do not care if you want to use me.
I do make mistakes - I once said that Earl knew how to run a railroad meaning it positively but I missed the negative context he took with it. He and I solved it back channel.
I tried to resolve the issue of 3000 back channel with you but your only response was publicly on the ngdf. I was taught that you condemed someone in private and praised someone in public. You seem to be an Archie Bunk type where there are two was, your way and the wrong way.
I have taken other's disagreements such as Chama Station Agent concerning the lack of funds from the D&RGW towards the narrow gauge in the 1920's and 30's and his disagreement with it. I do not know his source and mine is narrow gauge to the pacific which does say what I mentioned. I did not contest his view but I still feel my view is valid.
Why can you not agree to disagree and leave it alone?
If yoiu need a whipping boy, fine, fire away. I will continue to ignore your potentially libelous posts.
As one famous person said, let he who is without sin throw the first stone.
As to the rest of the NGDF readers, I am sorry to have to bring this out in public, but I feel I have to respond.
