There's no freaking way you'd see a K-36 painted in 'Pepsi' colors with 'Amtrak' written down the tender, going up Cumbres Pass in the 70s or 80s (or at any other time).
That said, I must admit it's a neat 'alternate reality model railroad layout' concept.
