In our business, we used to work on water systems on farms and ranches from time to time. Finding leaks is a real pain, and even worse if you don't know the routing of all of the lines. In winter, leaks are sometimes obvious because the leaking water will melt the layer of frost and eventually the snow, even if the water doesn't actually come to the surface.
