First you park the engine over the the end of the pit so you can get underneath the plow. The plow itself has to be on solid ground, so this is done on the end of the pit track. You have to block the plow up, then remove all the attaching hardware, adjusting hardware, coupler, etc. Then get another engine behind the one one getting the plow removed, couple up and slowly back the engine away from the plow, in the process you will find at least 3 bolts that hold the thing on that you missed. Once you have the engine pulled away from the plow, you have to find a big front end loader, chain the plow to the bucket, then move the plow somewhere out the way.
Putting it on is the reverse, but the holes never seem to line up the way they did when you took it off and you spend a lot of time with big jack bars manhandling the plow to get things line up.
