Today, WW&F #10 was steamed up for the first time since 2002, after an 18 month rebuild. It was able to pull the last couple of trips, after a minor glitch in the morning.
#10 is 100 years old this year. For July it is lettered for one of the lines it served, "Pleasure Island and Western Railroad". This weekend is Pleasure Island Remembrance Weekend.
The engine is square, sharp sounding, looks really nice and the sound of steam is wonderful to have again.
