In the early years of operation at SVRR, patron's were treated to a trip around a wye at the railroad yard. The operating equipment consisted of the WH Eccles Lbr. Co. #3 wood burning Heisler and two former DRGW flat cars converted to passenger conveyance. The railroad was very much a work in progress as noted by the water tower house sitting on the ground in the back ground. Now days, the line covers over 5 miles mostly on the old Sumpter Valley Ry. right of way. The scan is from the SVRR Archive.
