I rode a photo charter perhaps ten years ago or more and 734 did indeed end up on the ground in the transition from the grade crossing to the turntable. We lost much of our afternoon in the re-railing operation, but to the credit of the crew, they did get her back on without the use of heavy equipment. At the time, it appeared as if a rail had rolled a bit in the pavement and we just attributed it to deterioration of the track structure below the grade crossing. Someplace, I have some images of that incident and the frantic efforts to resolve it.
