Right you are about the Friends. The first time my wife and I came out to Chama it was to work on the trains. Each year since it has become somewhat of a "family reunion" of really nice people who want to make a difference in perserving the railroad instead of sitting on the sidelines complaining about what they don't like about what's going on.
