If your shop is not equipped to do all those things, here is a photo of what originally were 4" thick 44" center (to get 52" driver size) driver tires behind the shop at Long Leaf, LA in 2007.
These drivers have been turned to their last turning and they are approximately 2" thick, which yields a driver diameter now of 48". Note that when the tire was originally machined, that there is a slight lip, less than 1/16" on the outer rim of the inside of the tire. The shop would drive the tire on until the lip was firmly seated on the driver center, and that would be that. No fancy stuff for a short line.
