Just a note of encouragement. Bernd runs good tours, I have been with him on several. He'll get you up early, and perhaps put you in a boxcar to ride, but you will be well fed, well housed, and well taken care of. And get some really good pictures. If you're ready for a bit of adventure, just do it. Here are a few pix from one of his trips to Romania a few years ago.
