Camino, Placerville and Lake Tahoe was not n.g. or a logger, but the Michigan-Cal Lbr. Co. that fed it was. They were the outfit that had the cable crossing over the river. Their Shays were both wood and oil burning.

The C.P. & L.T. was a common carrier with the pair of 70-3 Shays and later a 44 ton G.E.
