As someone who actively supports and has spent many years of my childhood at Roaring Camp Railroads, I believe that the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC)'s plan to force abandonment of the Santa Cruz Branch Line from Watsonville to Santa Cruz and Davenport is not only an act of betrayal on their part to the county and its community but also a clear indicator that wealthy special interest groups have corrupted our local government. For those who live in Santa Cruz County, please write to your representatives and the RTC directly and make your voice heard at their meeting on February 3rd, 2022!
