Roger - Thanks as always for making this information available.
Anyone reading the Commission Conductor should quickly get the idea that a lot of good hard - working people are dedicated to preserving this railroad.
Further evidence of that fact came this week when, after having 484 blow a cylinder near Dalton, 487 was quickly repaired and sent (late at night, I presume) to Antonito so that the next day's train did not have to be annulled. Meanwhile 484 was fixed in time for a sold out weekend of 4 trains.
Please pass on my thanks to all those involved. Now that my family has seen first hand what keeps me coming back, they would like to send their appreciation and gratitude as well.
Looking forward to dropping by again soon.
