I have posted this here before. Below is a clip from FRA testing on the Chama River Bridge. Not sure where the sensors were placed, or how locations were determined. On the North West end of the bridge below the grade, the FRA had a pop up tent covering all their equipment. I did not get to ask anyone what specifically they were looking for. They ran several trips at varying speeds, with varying levels of brakes applied. Was definitely a neat thing to catch. The next to last run in my video is at approximately 20-25mph (so I was told), with moderate brake pressure applied. I didn't know it was coming and was set up only feet from the rails. It woke me up better than any cup of coffee that's for sure!!!
