If it was a rarer car I'd definitely agree. Seeing as there's a decent stock car fleet on the C&TS and lots of others around I can't imagine this project would've put a major dent in their population.

Kyle works in the D&S car shop, so there was probably an easier deal to be made than if a total stranger attempted to buy it.

Probably depends on how salvageable the frame is. Plenty of accurate car restorations had to totally remake these with new lumber.
