The news I saw yesterday said all the highways and railroads out of Hope, BC (Weather Channel's "Highway through Hell" with Jamie Davis Towing) were closed. Other towns were being evacuated. A highway going north is also closed, so supposedly you can't get to anywhere else in Canada outside the Vancouver region. If my metric conversion was correct, storm dumped around 9 inches of rain in some places but may be transitioning to snow. More ammunition for the Climate Change crowd....
