16th Annual ET&WNC Convention

On June 18-20, 2004, the ET&WNC Historical Society will meet in Boone, North Carolina for its 16th annual convention. All marrow guagers are invited to attend. This years events include a trip to the NC Transportation Museam to view the restoration of ET&WNC Combine #15, a visit to the Tweetsie RR, to view the famous TRR Shops and ride behind #12, which includes photo run-bys, and a 2 lap non=stop run around the park, and finally a hike up the Boone Fork Lumber Company right of way, near Grandfather Mtn. If anyone will be in the NC area that weekend you are invited to come. If your interested please contact me off the list.

The NGDF was started by Don Richter and is currently operated in his memory by Nathan Holmes and others.
