I have received several good on- and off-post explanations. Thanks for your interest.
To those of you who are not familiar, I am one railroad preservationist who has gotten dern sick and tired of watching other advocacy groups walk away with "the guv-mint cheese" --- favorable policies and funding.
It seems that railroad preservationists have more failures than successes. When compared to the Rail-Trail interest group, we are generally playing no better than Double A baseball. We need to be in the Big Leagues. And immediately, if not sooner.
