Couple of years ago, we ordered a Sunsetter awning for the patio. With shipment tracking, I watched it proceed from Massachusetts through Chicago on to San Francisco, then back to Denver before sauntering down to our house in Colorado Springs. That routing could have been optimized a bit, don'tcha think? grinning smiley A hundred years ago, such a shipment would probably have taken 20 times as long, even if not routed 2000 miles out of the way, and we wouldn't have received progressive telegrams advising us of its progress...

Kind of an aside, last night I watched over my wife's shoulder as she followed the pizza delivery person inch-by-inch, direct from Domino's to our house, no side-trips to Limon or whatnot. Oh, we did watch a grocery delivery person one Sunday go to church with our perishable groceries before delivering them to our door. What have we come to?????? grinning smiley
