The photograph shown in "livery" is also in CRRA No. 24 and shows a light colour at the cab peaks as well as differing colours in the lined panels on the sidetanks. Even that lining shows as two distinct shades.
Looks gaudy, in the British way.
But no polished brass domes like NZR did.
