As I understand, the mud was encountered in the vicinity of Mud Tunnel. The mud was over the top of the pilot step, but much of it was washed away by the rain.
The photo was taken in Osier, Sunday, July 25 at 2:18 PM. On the return trip the Fire Patrol Motor Car was sent ahead to spot potential problems. The train
returned Antonito at 7:17PM.
