Might as well pile on with this picture from Bondad that doesn't even show the tank, but does bring back a nice memory. September 1961. Pinky Lynton takes water at Bondad. Pinky had been an engineer on the Rio Grande Southern, and when it abandoned in 1951 he went to work in engine service on the DRGW ng. Even though he was a well qualified engineer, he was not comfortable with the "big" DRGW K-36 and K-37 mikes, so he usually worked as a fireman. I sent Pinky a copy of this photograph (which was published in the old "Railroad" magazine many years ago) and got a beautifully hand written letter back from him thanking me. He was a gentleman of the old school
