Meanwhile, whatever disease is causing the "numeric constipation" has been spreading -
Compare the spacing of the cab numbers on #489 since her conversion to oil with the tender numbers on #483 as painted by the D&RGW more than 50 years ago:
Photos "borrowed" without permission from Roger Hogan and Greg Scholl, respectively — the latter 'cause with those colors there's no doubt about the era . . .
IMHO, the C&TS desperately needs medical attention, or at least astool fool softener . . .
